ABC Christmas ,,,,, Hotspot Challenge

Hi again,,, I am running REALLY late today so I will have to make this a short post !!

This week on the ABC Christmas Challenge Dorte is our hostess with the mostest and had done a fabulous tutorial on the ‘Hotspot’ technique. So that is our theme

Make a Card/ Creation using this technique , don't forget it MUST be a Christmas card to be eligible for a prize too :-) We are also looking for a Guest Designer to join us too so please have a look on the Challeneg blog for more details :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp so a fab $15 voucher to the store for one lucky entrant :-)

For my card I used this very cute Foot Loose and Fancy Free HM stamp,,, not much colouring on this one !!! I only used a couple of Red Copics and a skin tone ! I inked the edges with Forrest Moss Distress Ink and distressed the edges using a Tim Holtz Paper Distresser The papers are from Papermania, and I added a ribbon a TH Poinsettia with a glitter brad in the centre and then added a few gems to finish.

Waves to Vicky :-)

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge, I used this very cute Teddy and Me stamp by Gillian Roberts. I coloured the image with Copics, masked her and created the background using a Hero Arts cloud stamp to create masks, then sprayed using my Copic Air Brush. The papers are from my fave Basic Grey Hopscotch pad. I love these !!

The sentiment is from a Hero Arts Tags and Ticket stamp. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and used a Viva Opal Paper Pen on the body I then added a few Kaiser Crafts pearls. The ribbon was in my stash and I added a Hero Arts felt button and Basic Grey button too. of course I had to add Star Dust Stickles here and there too Smile

As usual Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 voucher to her FANTASTIC Simon Says Stamp Superstore !! See the NEWEST stuff on the All New Just In Page For fabulous tutorials, inspiration and candy you should keep an eye on the Simon Says Stamp Blog too !!! :-)
