Simon Says ,,,, Mother’s Day/Special Girl

Simon Says Stamp

Thank you so much to all of you who took part in our Anything Goes challenge last week. We had lots of amazing entries. One lucky winner of that challenge will be drawn shortly !

This week the theme is ,,,,

MOTHER'S DAY/SPECIAL GIRL

It is Mother's Day in the UK on Sunday 18th March, and the rest of the world on Sunday May 13th, unfortunately not everyone is lucky enough to still have a Mum with us, so we can make a card for a special girl in our lives too :-)

As usual Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 voucher to her FANTASTIC Simon Says Stamp Superstore !! For fabulous tutorials, inspiration and candy you should keep an eye on the Simon Says Stamp Blog too

We are welcoming the fabulous Laurel Beard into the March Designer Spotlight. If you haven't seen Laurel's blog then you should pop over to see her wonderful creations ! :-)

For my card I used this very cute House MouseNapping on a Thistle’ image. Coloured with Copics and the edges inked with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I used a Grand Calibur and Grand Circle and Grand Scalloped circle dies to make the base card, the papers are from Kaiser Craft and I stitched all the edges and used some Hemptique twine, a Basic Grey button, a Hero Arts Foliage Print flower and a few green pearls. The sentiment is Hero Arts too.

This card is for my lovely Mum for Mother’s Day :-) Ray and I are staying with my brother in London at the moment and Mum and Dad will be joining us here tomorrow, can’t wait to see them Smile

Thanks for looking :-) Laurel and the DT have made some stunningly gorgeous creations too so hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge to see them Smile
